Natural cork, carefully applied
A water-based coating formulated with natural cork, bringing a distinctive textured finish to your property.
A textured cork coating for homes across Chorley and Lancashire. Thoughtful preparation, thermal and weather protection, and a finish chosen around your property.
Discuss your cork render project ↗Often called cork render or spray cork, DecoRend Spraycork is a water-based coating made with natural cork. We use it as part of a carefully specified refurbishment, assessing the existing walls, exposure and detailing before recommending the finish.
It brings together a decorative surface with thermal and weather-protection benefits. A thin coating is not a substitute for a designed wall-insulation system: where a substantial insulation upgrade is needed, we can discuss wall insulation options alongside your exterior finish.

Cork contributes thermal resistance and helps protect surfaces from temperature fluctuations. The result depends on the wall, coating thickness and wider building specification.
Designed to protect suitable, correctly prepared surfaces against water and weather exposure.
An even, spray-applied texture can bring tired elevations together while sitting comfortably alongside existing stone and architectural details.
We assess whether the existing surface can be retained, repaired and coated, or needs more extensive preparation before work begins.
DecoRend describes applications on façades and other suitable building surfaces, indoors and outdoors. We specify the preparation and system for each location.
Whether you have light neutrals, warm cream, a stone-inspired tone or a deeper grey in mind, we can discuss the look you want and check the current DecoRend colour options for your specification.
We agree colour and texture using physical samples before ordering. The available shades and any special-colour requirements are confirmed for your project; photographs and screens are a guide to appearance.
A 10-year warranty is available on qualifying cork render installations, subject to the agreed system specification, correct preparation and application, and the applicable warranty terms.
The warranty provider, scope, exclusions and any registration requirements are confirmed in writing with your quotation and project documentation.
Before-and-after views of the rear and side elevations, followed by preparation and close-up details. The finished coating brings a consistent texture to the walls while retaining the contrast with the brickwork and roof.

Each photograph individually enhanced with light exposure, contrast and colour corrections. Original wall texture, building details and scaffolding are retained.
Send Oliver photographs, your postcode and a description of the existing walls. We will discuss the surface, preparation, finish and next steps before putting together a specification.
We inspect adhesion and condition first. Loose, blown or unstable material needs attention; the coating cannot repair structural movement or make an unsound wall stable.
The cause needs to be identified first. Leaks, defective gutters, ventilation problems and building defects need appropriate repairs. We will explain whether a cork coating has a useful role in your particular project.
We assess wall construction and moisture behaviour before recommending a system. For heritage buildings, consent and an appropriate specification may be needed. We also offer lime rendering.
