Roughcast render / Windermere

Traditional texture.
Renewed appeal.

Ecorend Antique White, finished in roughcast for a warm exterior that sits naturally within its Lake District surroundings.

Why roughcast is growing in popularity

Roughcast is finding renewed appeal with homeowners looking for character, depth and a more tactile exterior. Its distinctive texture suits traditional cottages and country homes, while also bringing warmth to contemporary designs with dark frames and clean rooflines.

A soft colour such as Antique White keeps the overall look calm and understated, allowing the texture to catch the light and complement neighbouring stonework.

A finish worth the effort

Utility connection issues and restricted site access made this Windermere rendering project a challenge. Patience and persistence helped us deliver the Ecorend Antique White roughcast finish—the pain was worth the gain.

We assess the existing walls, exposure and detailing before recommending the right render system, colour and finish for your property.

Thin coat system render

A refined finish.
From every angle.

A fine textured exterior finish that brings definition to your home, from the main elevations to the details around windows and doors.

Thin coat render systems combine prepared backgrounds, a reinforced base coat, primer where specified and a decorative finish. We discuss the existing walls, exposure and manufacturer’s specification before recommending a suitable system and colour for your property.

Monocouche render / Scraped finish

A fresh finish.
A lasting first impression.

Give your property a lift with a finely textured scraped finish. Monocouche render creates a consistent exterior that brings together the character of your home, its windows and its architectural details.

Stronger kerb appeal

A uniform finish refreshes tired elevations and helps your home make a welcoming first impression.

Colour through the render

Pigment runs through the material, avoiding the need for an initial painted finish. Cleaning and maintenance still depend on the location and system.

Subtle, even texture

The scraped finish creates a fine texture that suits both traditional properties and contemporary homes.
